To say that I love unique and creative ideas is quite an understatement. I don’t think there’s quite enough words to describe my excitement when I am approached with concepts that are hard to really  describe.


When this beautiful woman reached out to me about creating a concept that she had done a few years prior but hadn’t quite brought the idea to life yet, I knew instantly that this was going to be another set that would set my creative heart on fire!

Going into the actual prep was very chaotic, which if you have a shoot with me before you know my chaotic energy is one that is a unique one.  We just had an idea but not really a detailed plan of action. Literally ran to the store grabbed a few items that seemed like they’d work  and headed back to my space and got to work.


As we begin prepping the space, there really wasn’t any ideas other than showing the darkness and that it’s OK to let it out. Whenever I am in a dark & depressive state I tend to turn on my favorite band, I Prevail. This band is so special to my heart because last year when I was in a very dark mental space their music brought me out. They really try to understand mental health and I love their message with their lyrics. At first we just did some simple poses and soon enough the creative chaotic energy began to emerge.

There really is a beauty with a woman who isn’t afraid to show who she is and I’m so thankful that this beautiful soul was brought into my life. She was such a natural in front of the camera and those eyes just suck you in.


I can’t wait to see what other creative concepts are brought to me with this new year that’s coming. I think 2020 was quite the challenging year emotionally and mentally for so many of us. I would love to create images to really capture more than just a beautiful body, I went to create images that capture a beautiful soul!
